We are Indo Dutch, Dutch Indo, Indo European, Eurasian or Amerindo with our roots in the former Dutch East Indies living in SoCal and raising awareness of our beautiful Indo Dutch Heritage. The combination of dark skin and light green eyes “What nationality are you?” Food has always brought us together Satay, Gado Gado, Peanut sauce, Nasi Goreng, Ayam Goreng, Rendang, Sambal and Lemper. SoCal Indo was created to keep our Indo Dutch heritage alive and to teach the younger generation about what our parents or Omas and Opas went through to get us to where we are today.
No matter where you are, The Hague, Toronto, Brisbane, Jakarta or Southern California, one thing we Indos have in common is that we love food and music.
